Gone, But Never Forgotten
I posted this over a year ago when we lost Keke, but shortly after that we had a hurricane that destroyed life as we knew it. We never really had a chance to grieve Keke before having to grieve our previous way of life. So I'm reposting this post from last year as a reminder that time has marched on whether we wanted it to or not, and the year has held both joy and sorrow. Reflections I stood outside the funeral home, my feet refusing to walk the last few steps up to the door
